KLCN Socioeconomic Survey

build your community: participate in the klcn socio-economic survey

March to July, 2016

Across our Nation's territory and beyond our borders to reach ALL As'in'i'wa'chi Ni'yaw community members, wherever they may choose to reside.

Kelly Lake Cree Nation is conducting a socio-economic survey for the benefit of all As'in'i'wa'chi Ni'Yawak. The purpose of this survey is to gather information and opinions from community members about their daily life.

Participants will be asked a series of questions about housing, language, mobility and traditional activities. We will also ask for your opinion about community services such as health care, education, job training and food security.

  • The information collected will be used by KLCN in the planning and funding of programs in such areas as education, employment and health.
  • All responses and personal information gathered through the course of this survey will be handled with the strictest confidence.
  • Participation in the survey is completely voluntary. Once you begin the survey, you may choose to end your participation at any time.

The survey consists of 9 sections. It is made up of multiple choice questions and ratings scales.  The survey can be completed in approximately 30 minutes.

It can be self-completed online, or, if you choose, an interviewer can be made available at your home or by phone to assist you.
